Building list Websites

Why this is titled as building list websites? Well because this site do not need any credits or clicking ads for credits. Also a way of building list and get to mail those people who subscribe to those sites? It can be done this way as form of advertisement and done without spam. =) I know lot of folks out there don't like spamming mails right? O_O
